Dentistry New York City - Headshot of a girl in the dentist chair having a comprehensive dental exam.

Comprehensive Dental Exam

Experience an exam catered to your needs.

Each patient is different, and so we adapt our first exam to reflect this. We use the latest technology to reduce radiation, get clearer images of your mouth, and save time.

A typical dental exam includes:

  • Discussion with your dentist about your needs
  • Look over your dental history
  • Check for any problems you might not have detected
  • Digital x-rays / Trio Intraoral camera (get 360 views of your mouth)
  • Personalized treatment plan

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fix your teeth with no compromise.

Due to advances in technology, gone are the days of harmful metal fillings. These have been replaced with extremely natural looking and functional tooth-colored fillings. These composite fillings are both healthier and stronger than old amalgam fillings.

You can restore your smile in no time and feel the confidence of having a natural, healthy smile. No more silver on display, just great teeth!

‘‘Meticulous, technologically always up to date, listens and always does an excellent job. Best dentist I've ever had.’’

- Sheila D. (5-star Review)

Sealants

Get a little helping hand for your oral health.

The majority of decay on back teeth starts in the grooves and pits of chewing surfaces, especially during the first few years after their eruption. Therefore, children are at a greater risk of dental issues. Sealing these surfaces with composite resins prevents this kind of decay and safeguards teeth.

Sealants are highly effective thin layers of resin placed in the pits, fissures, and grooves of molars to prevent decay on the surface.

Extractions

Painless, seamless, faultless.

Occasionally, a tooth can become severely infected or damaged, which can require your dentist to perform an extraction. When this occurs, it doesn’t have to be painful or time-consuming. Rather, your Midtown dental specialist will remove the tooth using a quick procedure, which involves expanding the socket and then separating the tooth from the ligament.

Once a tooth has been extracted, we may recommend an implant to prevent shifting and problems with chewing or jaw joint function.

We offer sedation dentistry for those who would prefer this option during your treatment.

Dentures

Whether you need full or partial dentures – we do it all!

We would all love teeth to last forever, but sometimes that just doesn’t happen. Thanks to dentures at Midtown Dental Excellence, you can keep your fully functional, natural-looking smile.

With today’s cutting-edge technology, dentures are created to look natural in appearance, support facial muscles, and feel comfortable. They don’t affect your speech or eating habits and solve the problem of aging teeth and gum disease.

We know everyone is unique, so we offer partial and full dentures. A partial denture replaces a series of teeth and is supported by your existing teeth. A full denture is used when no teeth are remaining, an impression is taken, and the new teeth are fitted perfectly. We also offer dentures that work in conjunction with dental implants for enhanced function and comfort.
